Perama Cave

Only 5 km. from the city of Ioannina, the Perama Cave is located. The inhabitants of Perama took refuge in this cave during the Second World War from the Germans. It is truly a unique destination where one can see stalactites and stalagmites. The creation of this cave dates back more than 1,000,000 years ago. There are many corridors and the tour takes place only in the presence of a guide. The tour is in Greek and English and lasts approximately 40 minutes.
