Metsovo

The dreamlike Metsovo is a truly traditional town in the Prefecture of Ioannina. There the visitor can enjoy the unique delicacies of the region. It is flooded with tourists during the winter and offers plenty of activities for winter sports enthusiasts and more. There is the Metsovo ski center a few kilometers above the village. In general, the area never stops having visitors throughout the year. Across from Metsovo is Anilio, where there is also a ski resort. In addition to the beautiful landscape, the Tositsa Mansion as well as the Averofti Area Art Gallery are unique monuments of cultural heritage.
